I replaced the overcast sky with a sunset taken in Phnom Penh, Cambodia using Adobe Photoshop. There are many ways of achieving the same thing in Photoshop and I usually like to replace the sky using the 'layer blending modes', but for this image that didn't seem to work well. Instead, I used the 'select by colour range' tool to select the grey sky I wanted to remove and simply masked it out with a 'layer mask'.
To add some drama, I used Skylum Luminar as a Photoshop plug-in to put in some sun rays. I finished the images by adding a warming 'photo filter' layer and changing the blend mode to 'screen', then lowing the opacity.
